We all have “that one song” or “that favorite drum solo” or “that INSANE drum fill” we have wanted to see written out in professional, easy to read, drum notation. But for many drummers their favorite solos/songs/etc are maybe a bit out of reach for their transcription abilities or they just don’t have time to tackle transcribing it.

This is a common thing every drummer experiences and is exactly why Tim has decided offer custom transcriptions so that drummers can FINALLY decode and see in easy-to-read drum notation exactly what favorite drummer is playing in that song, solo, or video.

What can you submit for transcription?

• Tim will transcribe up to 30 seconds from any ONE video or audio file of your choosing
• You must provide either a YouTube link or Spotify link for what you want transcribed and specify which 30 seconds you want transcribed
• The 30 seconds can be a contiguous section or several broken up sections from the same song listed out in minute markers (i.e. 1:34-1:38, 2:22-2:50, etc)

What will I get in return for the custom transcription purchase?

• Your custom transcription notation will be delivered in the form of PDF
• Tim will also provide a “drums only” audio recreation of the excerpt at 100% and 50% speed to make learning the excerpt easier
• Each transcription will be a professional and easy to read, note for note transcription of the 30 second submission
• Notation will also include stickings for the entire passage (if the submission is an audio file Tim will take a “best guess” at the stickings)

How do I buy a custom transcription?

• Add the “custom transcription” product to you cart on this page
• Proceed to the “cart” page and checkout (you can check out via PayPal or simply input your credit card information as a “guest” if you do not have a PayPal)
• Once the transaction is processed Tim will reach out and ask for your YouTube or Spotify link as well as the time stamps of what you want transcribed
• Turnaround will be 4-5 business days
